We give you the information you need to make a wise career decision. CareerInsights specializes in conducting customized assessments of high school and college students, as well as persons in the midst of potential career change. After analyzing your responses to a series of assessments of your skills, personality, and interests, we will provide you with a customized and detailed report. Then we will meet with you to discuss the integration of all of the findings – and what the implications are for your career decisions.

Why is this assessment effective?

Our assessments are comprehensive, integrated, conducted by an expert, and based on nearly a hundred years of scientific research of what actually predicts success and satisfaction in jobs.

Comprehensive	The CareerInsights Career Assessments evaluate the three most accurate predictors of success and satisfaction in professional positions: Aptitude, Interest (Motivation), and Personality.
Integrated	Because different careers require different combinations and threshold levels of each attribute, our career assessments investigate the client's career interests along with both their ability to do a job and their personality fit to the career. Therefore, we provide feedback that considers interest, ability, and personality together, not in isolation.
Research-based	Similar to how the medical community researches factors associated with health and well-being, Industrial/Organizational Psychologists scientifically investigate the predictors of success and satisfaction in jobs. Our approach is based on expertise and scientific research: it leverages nearly a hundred years of research onreal people in real jobs.

What steps are involved in a Career Assessment?

The specific questionnaires and tests used vary, depending on where you are in your career search. But the process is similar in each case. In general, there are three steps to the process:

Assessment	The client completes a questionnaire, interest inventory, a cognitive ability test, and a nine-factor personality assessment
Report	CareerInsights prepares a customized feedback report.
Feedback	The capstone to the assessment is a personal feedback session in which CareerInsights staff meets with the client (student and parents, in the case of a High School Assessment) to discuss the client's results. In the session, we discuss and integrate the client's unique attributes and how they shape success and satisfaction in various careers.
